Title: Per chi andra' a LETTERKENNY
Post by: Franco Barbanera on 18-03-2010, 16:24:48
As many of you start planning the Erasmus students’ mobility for academic year 2010/11, the Erasmus office of Letterkenny Institute of Technology sends you its updated web-link:

http://www.lyit.ie/admissions/erasmusapplicants/

LYIT gives Erasmus students 2 options:

    * Option 1: to study as part of the Erasmus mobility programme for 1 semester or 2 semesters.

      Please follow APPLICATION - ERASMUS

Application deadlines: 15th May for semester 1 (autumn) & 1st December for semester 2 (spring).

Please check list of modules available to Erasmus students.  LYIT recommends that modules are selected from the same year and from the same course to avoid timetable clashes. Entry to any course and module is subject to numbers and, due to financial constraints, entry is not guaranteed.

Registration and Induction for Erasmus students, for the autumn semester, will take place on Friday 10th September 2010 at 10.00 am in the Institute’s gymnasium.

    * Option 2: to undertake the LYIT Bachelor Award and study the full programme (6 modules per semester) of either the Bachelor of Business in Management, Marketing or Accounting.

Your application will be processed by the LYIT Head of Department of Business Studies and, if approved, you will be subject to a registration fee.

Please follow APPLICATION – LYIT BACHELOR AWARD

As classes are delivered through English, students are expected to have a B1 level according to the common European framework of reference for languages. Students cannot register for modules in their own language.

Please bring to the attention of your students that ALL REPEAT EXAMINATIONS - autumn and spring semesters – will take place during the LAST WEEK in AUGUST.

Please find attached the  list of accommodation recommended by previous Erasmus students.

Kind regards,

Peter Dobson
